Non-importation groups
Non-importation groups were organised to stop the sale of British goods in America. They had non-importation agreements meaning that ships with British goods would be turned away. The idea was to stop British trade and thus force parliament to repeal the taxes. These agreements were mad in the Suffolk Resolves at First Continental Congress.
